Express Entry
Express Entry is one of the most popular Canadian immigration programs since it was launched in 2015. It replaced the previous first-come first-serve system with a point-based selection system. Express Entry is actually a collection of 3 immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class.
Federal Skilled Worker Program uses six selection factors that include Language skills, education, work experience, age, arranged employment in Canada and adaptability to access applicant’s profile.
Federal Skilled Trades Program provides Permanent Residential pathways for applicants skilled in trades e.g., industrial, electrical and construction trades, equipment operation trades, supervisors jobs in agriculture, chefs, cooks, etc.
Canadian Experience Class provides Permanent Residential pathways for applicants who have had the opportunity to gain skilled work experience in Canada.
